It was to keep room between the axle and frame when I was welding in the frame repair panel so I could get in there easier to weld. Surprized it took this long for someone to comment.

Kinda slipped my mind it worked great, no problems at all worked flawless all day. I had to replace the alt. mid day. Truck climbed everything in sight no pics cause the guy riding with me was the only one taking pics which I didn't know till we were leaving or I would have gave it to someone else. I only have one striaght body panel now it is tight for a full size down there.
