Hi everybody,,, I need HELP,, and hope someone can help,,i just came across a k30 pk bare,it use to have hydro boost,(wasn't there when i got it) so i installed the vacuum boost that i hade in my other truck,,i installed the vacuum boost W/ MC attached, bleed the system, now the pedal just goes all the way down, and i barely get any braking at all, the check valve is on,, whould it be the booster is no good, or is there something else that you would normaly change with this kind of swap?

PS ,there is a hissing that comes from the booster, when i apply the brakes

If the booster was bad, the pedal would be hard. I would compare the pushrod length(from the pedal) between the 2 trucks. If they are the same, welcome to the wonderful world of bleeding.

hope you bench bled the m/c beforehand

keep on bleeding, you got lots of air in it yet

good luck

i did bleed , but i guess i got alot more to go, i'll just flush the lines out,OH,, i hate bleeding brakes,,,,, oh well,,,,,i'll install a new MC and try again,, Thanks for your help guys
