Hydroboost * GONE*

It will work with either one... the question is, do you have the right pump on the 350? All the diesel's came with hydroboost and the correct pump. If you don't have the correct pump (two return lines) you can just put a "T" fitting in the return line instead.

i think the pump is the same, the reservoir is the only difference.
 
Interested, Would the master cylinder work on my '89 C 3500 and will the hydroboost work on my '84? Mostly concerned with bolt pattern and fitting thread and size.

I don't know about cross applications, but as a matched set it's ideal. Flare fittings on the unit. "I think" '80 ,was the change over year, from o-ring to flare on the fittings.
