Hyrdo Ram question...

A hydro ram I have has a 9"" stroke. When measuring my trucks steering lock to lock, its 8.5". What will happen if I use the ram the way it is with an extra 1/2" more than my turning ability?
I know most rams used are 8"...is that so you dont go to FULL lock with your box/steering stops?

Should I mod the ram to only 8" stroke or is it not a big deal?

funny, i just posted this same question... and no one really posted.

if you keep from going stop to stop, or stop applying pressure when at full lock, you should be fine..... imho
