I turn on my truck and click the fan forward to the first speed and you can hear the fan kick on, but when i push the speed knob higher the strength of th fan doesn't get stronger and push harder, what is wrong?

This could be a fan switch in the dash, the fan speed switch under the hood, or a couple of other things. Need more testing to find this one.

It is more of a relay mounted on the AC box on the passenger side of the firewall. It is only on AC equipped versions, and should be a small silver rectanglular relay. It tends to be ok since the low speed is working, I would say it is the dash switch, as that is what failed the last time I saw this happen. I would get low speed but none of the higher speeds.
