I bought a Corvette.

So I went and nabbed some G60-15 IMCA tires to use as rollers on my 15"x7" rally wheels (off of a 1977 Monte Carlo). A 7" wide wheel is a little too narrow for that wide of a tire.

I also bought a set of t-tops from a guy in Ohio, and they showed up. That's a welcome addition.

Great surprise when I pulled off the right front. No caliper....

More of the same on the front left. Going to have to find out how much new calipers (with no core.....) are.

Was a little happier when I pulled off the left rear, and found the rear still had calipers.

Well, at least I thought the rear had calipers...

Guess it was just one.

Insult to injury, the wheels and tires do not work on the rear. The ballooned out tires press up against the oddly placed e-brake cable.

I wonder what the backspace of a 15"x8" Corvette rally wheel is?

I shimmed the wheels out with flat washers, just so I could roll it back into the Quonset.

Some positive news. I yanked a vacuum hose loose at random from the headlight system and sucked on it. Down went the headlight!

Yay! So that means one you have a motor that actually creates vacuum, they should work.

Does the e brake cable still mount to the trailing arm on that year?
I think the 15x8 rally's had 4" bs as measured from the lip of the wheel...if you get up to 17 rims you can run a bit more bs
Those calipers are notorious for leaking because of corrosion in the bores and most go with stainless sleeved calipers. Are the rotors still usable?
It may be cheaper to buy a brake kit w rotors than just replacing the calipers.

The rotors look fine, but I have not measured them. Do you have a suggestion for brakes? I am pretty cheap.
