Just got back from the junk yard. 52" springs out of a SWB 1/2 ton only $75.00. Found a 14ff but they wanted $250.00. Looks like I am going to go with 1 ton stuff. Thanks to everybody that gave their input as you have helped me make up my mind and have given me a direction, finally. So my parts collection/quest is below. Let me know if I should look for anything else or differnt.

D60 (or some type of redue/upgrad of the front 10 bolt)
4" shackle flip
Zero Rate spring perch

My advise would be not to put a penny in the ten bolt unless you plan on staying with 37s or smaller. Even then its most likely cheaper for you to run a stock 60 for piece of mind than upgrade a 10b. Think it through real well before you pick tires and wheel size.

Yep I made my mind up today will shopping in the junk yard. Found the 14FF, now I need to find a D60. Wonder how much that will cost me?

Dont forget brake lines and ubilts. Those 52s will flex alot. Other than that I think you got it covered.

A d60 shouldnt cost you more than $550 from the junkyard. thats how much the over priced they pull yard is here.
I would kill to find a D60 for $550.
