I dont want to junk it, but what do I do with it?

Yeah you need to fix that back up!

They would be asking 4000.00 for that truck around here, not to say they would get it but....getting real hard to find these days.

I keep my eyes open for a full vert but the ones around here are truly junk.

Take some more pics of it.

I like it. :thumb: And welcome to the site.

That rust is nothing compared to some of our trucks. Buy a little welder and go to town. Check out some of the rust repair picts on here and they will make you feel great about your truck.

I took this:

It worked out alright, I still question why I even bothered to fix it. Cant say I'd do it again.

Hard to tell in the pics, but yours doesnt look so bad. If it were me I'd chop the heck out of it and wheel the biatch :pimp:

Keep your eyes out for guys parting out old military blazers. Most of them are low mileage and in great shape.

I decided to sell. $1300. sad day, but I'm moving to Texas and need to get rid of her.

Where to go to buy:

Fenders front and rear
hood
rocker panels L&R
carpet

tailgate cables

Best deal on carpet is usually Rockauto, made in Georgia. Welcome back. 75 cool gonna run topless ?

I'd see if you could get decent OEM metal from somewhere.... especially for the fenders and tailgate.

Congrats on getting another K5, sorry to see it looks like your move to Texas didn't work out (NJ plate), at least we know you aspired to get here. :)

I've had my '74 almost 35 years (bought it in college), it's been driven but not really touched in almost 20 years as I built a '57 convertible. I'm about to finish a full suspension/axle replace and soft top add, body panel replacement is next. I realize now I missed working on it...
