D'oh! I swear that was a mis-key! Hahaha....but what a terrible place for one!:haha:

You live in the rust belt too so I'm sure you've seen what most trucks of that vintage look like after this long. Compared to them yours is pristine.

I know where one is that could probably fit 38's on it's stock, and saggy, suspension.

dude...congrats, great find. i just basically paid 1400 for the axles that you have...not to mention you got the engine/trans/case and everything. i should have just bought a whole damn truck. haha.

Dude, that's awesome! I looked for my dream truck for 8 years!!! It's worth the wait.

damn steve u ARE a baller.. a 4page thread on this very truck i got to drive this evening.. damn

ill check it out again tomarrow, but im pretty sure its 100%

anyways

i did a compression test and all the cyls are between 131psi and 137. now the book says 150 is normal so i figure after 24 years of wear its obvously not gonna be 150. i think those are good numbers to not do a rebuild (other than cam, intake, ect). what do u guys think?

Well good steady numbers are a good sign...
I say go for it! :D
