well, like it says, i have 12in superlift springs up front and i would like to lower it around 4inches or so....has anybody removed a leaf to lower it??? if so, any idea where i should start??? any advice would be appreciated.

thanks
~Dave

Removing leafs will soften the pack & lower it a little. 12 inch leafs have tons of arch though so I doubt you could safely lower it 4" that way. You would prolly break the main leaf if you pulled enough from the pack to let it sag that much.

I know it would be a pain, but the best option would be to sell the packs you have & buy some that are the hiegth you want.

I took the bottom 2 out of the 12" springs and lowered it some, can't remember how much. Couple inches at least, actually made it flex some....

i bet you could easily get most of your money back selling it to some kid wanting to lift his truck

hmmm.... b454rat...do you have any pics of how it looked??? also, did it flex decent, or were you kidding????

Taking springs out is so easy, give it a shot.

How many leaves are there? I'd probably remove three, the shortest ones (but keep the overload if there is one).

Do it, worst case they will ride like a boat, id take 2 leafs out each side and ride it let it settle
