I got my wheels turning in my head

buy the formula chassis and don't look back. I own F-Toy #74 and I'm building mine with all chevy, as I had the stuff laying around.

I almost have my buddy talked into building one from a wrecked truck or 4 runner going the full yoda route.

I have read pretty much every build up on there before ordering mine so I knew what way I was going with mine.

What kind of yota chassis? I know I'm too far away just wondering.

I would prefer an 85 or so long bed frame. If I got a complete truck I would sell the drivetrain out of it to someone who could use it and recoup some of my funds. I still need to do some research as far as springs and that sort but I am almost certain I will go full hydro for steering as it helps solve some of the clearance issues and I can move the front axle anywhere.

55willy do you have any pics of your build?

Thats a good one right there:D . East county is as close as you can get to AZ without being in AZ:D

YEAH, if you forget about the entire county I live in. But that's easy to do. :doah:

My buddy has a bare bones 2 seat tube buggy linked on airshox with a TBI 350 TH350 NP205 60/14. 42" swampers. Weighs 3700 with him in it. I gotta get mine chopped up and tube out, he's making me look lame.

i've been told

I would just keep the yota drive train and axles as I feel the yota axles are stronger than 10 bolts.

downey offroad told me that the yotas axles are comparable in strength w/fords 9''...in real life, i have a buddy w/ 79 yota w/350/sm465/np205...hes had it for years and wheels it pretty hard, and the axles are still living...downey knows the yota stuff, as well as any1, so maybe they are right comparing the yota axels to ford 9''
