The big deal about sugar is that in the combustion chamber it turns to carbon and sticks to pistons and cylinder walls. When the engine cools off the carbon turns to concrete ( like ) and makes the rings stick, thus loosing cylinder compression. This is worse case senerio. A few packets in a fuel cell may not be significant. Clean your fuel cell and run the engine on fresh fuel for 15 minutes. This should flush out any residual deposits.
