I have bought several from this guy and he has some authentic old "blue back" heavy steel embossed dealer novelty plates for next to nothing. Read the descriptions so that you know which ones are aluminum newer ones, and others which he says "we purchased a long time ago" and those will have the blue back.

Anyway, I guess I am doing this for others who want "oem or era correct" dealer plates for their trucks (and cars), and I can vouch for this store because I have purchased from him.

Here is an example of one of the older thicker embossed blue-backed GMC plates for only $7.50
Part of me wants to buy them all, but I don't own a GMC:

Anyway, this is the best place I have found for authentic or repro's of era correct plates

I've researched and can't find what the exact tag that would have been used for my 1974 Blazer is...but I have seen some that say one of these two was...as chevy adopted the Red,White and Blue as we neared the 1976 Bicentennial:

If anybody knows for sure what tag would have come from the dealer, maybe you have a Chevy truck that was bought new in 1974 and have photos or even remember, I'd like to know.

Wasn't me, but I tried.....
I believe that I got the Jimmy one, not quite sure as it didn't ask for payment, but have me a receipt. Looks like I have to send money, or email about paypal...

You'll like it, it's the real deal...nice thick and heavy. I am not sure why they are listed one at a time.

He may have a dealer box of them...not sure how many came in the box. You have to keep revisiting though, sometime's he'll post up an odd one only plate....I am still looking for whatever the dealers had in 1974 on the trucks and Blazers

there is another red / white GMC available Now
