I Just Put A 4\" Lift and 33\" BFG Muds On My 88 K5

Hey, I just finished putting a lift on my K5, a 4" Tuff Country front springs, superlift blocks in the back, 33"x12.5" BFG muds on 15x10 American Racing Wheels, and Rancho 9000s, what ya'll think? I should have some mud pictures this weekend.

I hope my 87 looks that good when I get my 4" lift on it. I guess cuz of my body lift, it makes it look like it's lower off the ground than normal... it's probably also why my skid plate on my T-case gets stuck on mud. In any case, those are only 33s? they look big compared to my 33" BFG ATs. Man, I hope my rig looks as sweet as yours after the lift and 35s.

Nice jod "D", hope those blocks work out good for yah, I hate what happened with the price and all for the shipping. But it feels kinda cool to see another Blazer on the internet with some parts that came from me. Your ride looks alot better than mine. I should have some pics for you'll after Tuesday.

Will work for parts, beer and sex.

Its almost sitting level, its a little lower in the back, but I'm the only one who notices it. I'm going to deal with that this summer, probably w/ the ORD add a leaf. The lift took me all day to do the front, then all day to do all the shocks, and rear blocks. However I couldn't get the brake lines off, so I got it towed to the shop and got them to do the brake lines and steering arm. They said the steering arm was hard to get off, and the bleed screw was rusted shut, so they put in new calipers. I would rather them doing that than me. It is a whole lot different riding up that high, but I like it. I just wish the brakes worked as well as with 31s, but I will get used to them. This was by far the best mod I have done to my k5. My exhaust was done by a local shop, it cost me $275 to do it, and that included a flowmaster 40 series, tips, and new pipes from the cat back.

did you get your rims and tires as a package? i see some places advertising in magazines, 4 rims and tires for under a thousand bucks doesn't sound too bad.
as soon as my 33's wear out, we're gonna lift and stuff. can't wait.

Yea I got the tires and wheels from national tire and wheel as a package for $1082, mounted, balanced, shipped, lug nuts, center cabs, ready to bolt on.
