I just scored, BIG TIME.

Nice score man. Good to see you found a nice one.

Wish my AC worked. Might drive it more.

THEIR ARE NO PICTURES!!!! :eek1::eek1::eek1: lol
that looks like a picher to me??

Yes. I'm stoked. I just bought a '90 Blazer Silverado. Here's the crappy Craigslist pic, and it's dark out so I can't do more pics till tomorrow:

Killer price, too. Everything works - even cruise control. :haha: windows roll up fast, a/c has already been converted to 134a with a brand new compressor less than a year ago. Dude recently replaced all the weatherstripping, etc. NO rust. New transmission 20K ago.

Only immediate issue is that I live in a smog-check area, so I need to have some cats installed. The paint has the typical fading and peeling, but it looks pretty good still.

I'm stoked. And, I'm going to do it right this time. :D

How good did you score?

Well, I still need to get the truck cleaned up, but here's a few quick pics I took tonite.

Couple dings, nothing major and I'm not going to bother fixing them as this truck is sure to receive a few dings from wheelin. But, it's solid mechanically and rust free. :D

First mod will be to remove the steps. Next mod will be to get a CB radio installed. That's one thing I always wished I had in my other truck and was sorely disappointed at not having every time I went wheeling with other people.

Very nice truck.

Personally though if you can afford too, I'd leave this truck stock and keep the green one to go wheeling with. As much as I love mine being lifted and such, sometimes I wish I kept it stock height maybe a 2" lift. It's not that you can't dd a lifted rig( I have as have plenty of others) for family use closer to stock height I think would be better. It's what I really love about my dodge, it has a lot of mods but it pretty stock looking which I like.

That's my .02 anyway. Got to love them desert truck though.

I hear where you're coming from. However, this isn't going to be a daily driver. That's what our 50 MPG Jetta is for. :D This is a backcountry rig that I want to have capable and multifunctional. :)

dammmnnn desert trucks!

You should see the underside of this truck. I'll have to snap some more pics. It's a little dusty, but otherwise it's perfect under there. It's weird. Never seen what the underside of a Blazer is supposed to look like before! :haha:

AH, I forgot you had a tdi jette. That right there changes how things can be done.

I'd love to get a hold of a clean desert rig one day, whether a k5 or pickup doesn't really matter. Just as long as it was rust free.

How dare you forget what vehicles I own! You should probably have the color and the damn VIN memorized!

:haha:

Your mistake, didn't you used to have a list of what you have in your sig line? or was that YMSGI whatever his screen name is?:dunno:
And as for the desert trucks, I understand what you gots right there my last crew cab is from NV and is exactly like that, still has the greyish primer on the frame, not even a hint of surface rust.:thumb:

......... So is the green '73 for sale?

I'll need to know that...... I still need a '73 k5 to pair with my '73 z-28

nope, never a list of what i own in my sig. ;) There's a diesel k5 guy in the SE, if I remember right, whose screen name I forget who has a diesel jetta too. ;) maybe you're thinking of him?

I've had folks look at the tail pan and other parts of the floor and say, "THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE!":D:haha:

Gotta love getting trucks from out west.

Okay, I gotta ask...what's the lump on the LR quarter panel above the body line?

Nice score! Looks very clean for 21 years old, PO must have kept it garaged a lot since you still have paint on it :D My 91 burb is mostly down to the primer. Sorry if I missed it but how many miles are on it.
