I've found a Brand new tailgate for my pickup thats been in storage since the day the truck was bought new in 1984. Absolute mint condition. Owner says it was on the truck for an hour, bought the truck came straight home and put it in storage.

Same factory dark blue as my truck, the chrome band on the tailgate is there and is in perfect shape. Its so pretty.......

I've found this at a bad time, so i'm gonna have to start selling junk out of the garage quick. Or you can donate to the truck build....write it off your taxes.
