Alright, the 150 is pissing my off. I whanted to run 35s on it but dont have the money to regear it. Im thinking i may be happier whith a chevy. So my question is what should i be looking for, i whant a stout drive train that will carry 35s. And yes crew cabs are out of the question saw one for 2k (perfect condidtion) but my parents said that thing wont be parked here. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

holy crap i would be like dont care im buying it!!
park it in the street..man i woud never pass up a crew cab if i could afford one..speacilly one in good shape! but yea..who wouldnt be happier with a chevy? lol..not that i hate fords ur anything but...ya know lol. i would say a desent 3/4 would be good for pullin 35's...(and always 1 ton if ur lucky enough) something like a 350 with a th400 or 465 and a np205 would be nice. or even a 203. the newer setups with the 700's and 208 arent bad either..but they are not as stout.(and 10 bolts might not be great for 35's...but i have heard it both ways) and for 35's i would say you would want at LEAST 3.73. i wish i had that...my blazers have it but my truck (which i use) only has 3.08's...and thats only good for up to 31's or so. thats what im running now.

I will sell ya my 85 gmc 2500 bilt 350 700r4 6"lift 38" groundhawgs pluss lots more for 5000 and will through in my new d60 front and th400 for 6000

I think im just going to have to make the ford work. My parents dont whant me getting something realy big and no one is selling anything smaller out here.
