OK I'm tired of jacking around with the driver's door for my '68 C20. It's missing the panel and the window crank, and the track is all jacked up. The hinges are bad and it's way out of alignment. Then, yesterday, I tried to hop in and pushed the door button and it just broke and fell inside the door. I was originally planning on fixing the door until this happened.

So, anybody got one? The closest one I can find on eBay is in freaking Cali and it will be almost $100 to ship, so I'd like to find one closer, preferably close enough to pick up.

I'd also be interested in other 67-72 parts you have that I might could use. :thumb:

Please drop me a PM.

Sorry, i don't have a door for ya. But what other parts do you need? Last summer i parted several of them trucks and I have some parts still. I keep some since i have two of these style trucks. Jason

Sterling, IL huh? That's funny, my company moves freight (recyclable cardboard) out of the Wal-Mart DC there.

Anyway, I'm not really sure what I need. Lots of parts on the truck have been replaced, but there's still a lot to go. One thing I definitely need is a steering column. Mine has a ridiculous amount of play. Not steering play, but movement of the shaft inside the column. It probably just needs a new bushing but I'd be happy to take an entire column. I need a wiper motor too.

Like I said, I'm really not sure what I need until it's offered to me, so besides the above items, what else do ya got?

Do you need a column for a automatic trans? Also if you think of anything else just let me know and i'll take a look. Jason

Manual...but if the price is right and it's in good shape I would probably even take the auto column. I can just remove the shifter, it's not like I'm going for show quality here. :rotfl:

I need a tailgate too, I forgot. Thanks!

I have a bunch of parts off a 71 C20.
I know I am in CA, but I might be able to get them to you or close since i will be on the road for a while.
I have a Tail gate.
I have a manual steering column.
I don't know if i still have the wiper motor but i will check.
I have a hood, inner fenders front and rear, core support.
I might have some more when I check.
I think I still have a brake booster too, your 68 would probably have just a regular MC.

Thanks Issaam. Let me know when you'll be nearby. You taking a nationwide road trip?

I would definitely be interested in the booster. Is swapping to power brakes as easy as just adding the booster? I guess I'm not sure if I want to switch though, I'm getting a good full-body workout right now between managing the manual brakes with my left leg, borg&beck clutch with my right, and keeping the manual steering under control.:haha:

Ah I see.
You don't want to pay to upgrade and then have to pay to go to the gym.
:D

Yep:p:

In all actuality, though, I'm very interested in all the items. I also forgot to mention that I need a windshield something terrible. Also an accelerator pedal would be nice. Side mirrors would be cool too as I currently don't have any of those.

Hell, I need a whole 'nother truck. :rotfl:

Welp, nothing has changed...I still need door, tailgate, windshield, and whatever else you have. Preferably local but have cargo van, will travel.

Let me know!
