Blazer, my DD, will get the shortened truck frame and drive train. I want a nice driving/riding K5 that I can tow my boat with for 1000 miles with ease. And it will get air bags. I love a lowered K5. But will still be able to run at stock hight when it snows here.
Truck will then get the blazer frame and drive train built as a buggy with tons and stuff.

The blazer does not work for what I want it to do. I could not fathom towing with it for 2000 miles round trip.
So by swapping the blazer body onto the shortened truck frame, are you leaving the truck drivetrain as independent front, or??

The only thing truck about the truggy will be a water tight and heated cab. The remaining vehicle will be tubing.
Could skin the front end of that tubing with bitchin cat-eye chevy sheet metel...just saying
