I need a measurement fast. please post up

The first one i need is the overall legnth of a
700r4 208.

The second one is
sm465 208

how much of a difference in length is there?

TCI does not have the transfer case dimensions or the sm465, but here are the others

When I get home tonight I can measure for you . I have one truck of each . Or I can measure both stock driveshafts and give you the difference when I get home /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

i believe they are the same length. i also have both but one isn't here right now and its raining out side. ill get you them when the blazer gets back. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

They are both the same length, GM makes up the difference with the adapter.

I have both in the shed at home, and for sure they are the same length. I have swapped these in all possible combinations below.

For reference the 700R4/208 -- TH400/208 -- SM465/208 combo are all the same length. I have used the same driveshafts for all these combos as well

Thats great. Know i can put the 465/208 in and use the same driveshafts. Thats what i was hoping to do. Thanks to all that posted up. And i would be like to see what they acctually measure out so keep the exact measurments coming
