I'm trying to understand descriptions in the for sale section. When referring to a Trans/TC what is the yoke. Anybody got a pic ? Also what is a twin sticked TC used for?

Thanks Chris

The yoke is where the drive shaft connects to the transfer case (4x4) or trans (2wd). It is where you bolt the straps or ubolts to hold the ujoints of the drive shaft. There are different yoke sizes for different ujoints. The yoke must match the joint in the shaft or you can buy a conversion joint.

Twin sticked transfer cases allow you to control the front and rear axles independently. This allows you to engage the front axle and put the rear in neutral for front digs or you can use low range with just the rear, etc, etc.
