I need to see your insides.....

Also received my new bezel. It's not NOS and is aftermarket, but it does look pretty good.

How many other sites/companies are there other than LMC? I've obviously looked throughout there catalog, but I saw another company with some body panels that were cheaper... mostly because they were for specific areas on the panel and not the whole panel... e.g. the wheel well. I'm looking for floor pans and stuff and thinking about custom door panels, or I may just dye my old ones. Im just starting out on this thing so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I believe classic parts carries some patch panels. I am not a fan of custom door panels in anything because it seems like most of the time I find custom stuff to be tacky. I would dye your factory ones, or just pick up new ones from Classic parts for like $150.

Yea, I can see how custom stuff can get real bad real fast. Have you ever dyed anything? Its all new to me... I just can't stand that ugly worn out burgundy/maroon color thats in there now. I plan on re-painting the blazer grey since thats what it is not, and I want to go to black interior. Also think I might bed-line the floor because the carpet is awful too.

Personally, I don't like bed lined interior floors. I like comfy fresh carpet, mainly because of the heat and noise barrier, and because I don't generally like stripped down vehicles. No carpet was standard on the custom deluxe trucks.

As far as dying the interior, so far so good for me. I'm using SEM paint, which is probably the best stuff out there. THe question is, is how good your dash and door panels are. If they are pitted, crusty, and smudged, the paint may not take well and go on smooth. It's just easier to start out with new stuff IMHO.

Yea my dash is pretty much shot, way too many cracks. The door panels are decent and I think they would be okay to dye or paint. Where did you get your paint? Did you just go down to the parts store and get some or order yours?
