Well, i have helped out Jeep guys and I help my buddy fix his jeep a lot. However, there are some guys who come into my work and think their jeep is the best, when its not the case. THey buy a 2002 jeep and have SOME SHOP lift it 4" and put 35's on it and think its the best in the world. Then they have the nerve to dis me and my Blazer, when i actually work on it my self and know my way around my truck. They are the only ones that have that attitude. But people who work on their own rides whether it be ford, chevy , dodge, jeep all seem to get along better and dont have that chip on their shoulder. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

no USMC had m151's in use in the mid 90's, im not in any more. usmc m151 with a mounted machine gun is nice.....

also the m1008 and m1009 are support vehicles and never used as a gun platform that i know of. those were 82-86 i think? the m151 was stopped in mid 80's as the hummer replaced it.

im not arguing anymore vehicle points. all i know is i prefer full size 4x4's

This really isn't too important, but I'm pretty sure that the Dodge power wagon was pretty influencial in the early 4x4 years (I believe 1945, not sure though)/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif.

Anyways, that looks like a nice truck /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That's a SWEET M715! ...right click, save picture as....

I just can't help putting in my .02. I prefer fullsize four wheel drives. But I don't dis everybody elses rides unless they're built crappy or unless mommy and daddy gave them the money to have a shop build it so they can go tell everybody how bad their vehicle is. I wheel with Jeeps, Toyotas, Suzukis, Fords, Scouts, etc, etc... I think some folks are so brand loyal that they're just stupid. I've been downright embarrassed in a deep mudhole by a 4-Runner with no lockers and 33's; and I was one-ton, 39.5 TSLs, and 2 lockers. It seemed like he just floated through, while I sank to the bottom and raised hell to get through. At Tellico, I saw a Jeep with stock axles with lockers on 35's drive up Slickrock with not much more trouble than it took me. I did see plenty of Jeeps with Chevy 1 ton. So I keep my mouth shut when talking bad about other brands. It depends on the driver, their skill, the setup of the vehicle, and a little luck. (I still love fullsize Chevys the best)
