Filled the truck full of 93 Octane gas, changed the plugs, and hooked up the AIR pump and I passed. Had 2.45% CO and 96 ppm HC. Just happy, and thought I'd share.

well if that is an 81 or newer most standards are below 1.20 % CO ,
If its really 2.45 % Co thats way to high, please try to get it lower

Well, dunno hwer eyou are from, but here in Tenn my truck is allowed 4% CO. So I passed easy. =) I'll agree it's higher than usual. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's my 17 year old carb giving me fits. =)

Thanks, looks like your state is one of the higher limit one's.
If its an 83 with 100-200K on the emmisions components with a good cat your #'s should
be in the range of 0.5 to 1.2 % CO, and less than 150 ppm HC.
Your probly just running rich.
