I think I just pi$$ed my pants!

My dad and I were checking out the house I'm buying in Pennsylvania a few weekends ago. While we were in the back yard, my wife and mom were yelling and honking in the front. My dad and I couldn't really hear them, so we thought nothing of it. Eventually, we went back out front to see everyone holed up in the K5, and my mom freaking out! Turns out a bear and her 2 cubs hopped the fence in the guy's yard across the street and took a stroll towards us. They ran away from the noise my wife made, but she did manage to catch em on video... Running away and hopping a 4 foot fence, then momma coming back for the baby that couldn't make the fence...
Needless to say, we are getting very high fences when we buy the house! And I think I'll re-stock on noisy fireworks...

dude that is cool I really like bears but I have SOME fire power to stop them from makeing a meal out of me remington 870 3.5" mag will put a serious hurten on a bar and if that dont work remington 700 30.06 will take care of him!

Heck, shoot the bear with a tranquilizer dart, put it down for a few hours, then the first unlucky person to pass out, put the bear on top of them and wake them up. :O)

Just remember, don't shoot him in the head, it`ll probably just bounce off. I`ve seen 308 and 30.30's bounce off the head of a bear before. 50 Cal would work but pretty hard on the shoulder

A buddy of mine pointed something out to me last night I never though of. Just above the door where I met the bear is a sign on the wall that says "Black Bear Fishing Gear" now would that have been a cool picture or what! Maybe tonight I'll take a picture and post it next week so you can see what I'm talking about. Wish I had a digital. Have fun this weekend all.......

my wife's grandfather had a bear rumaging through his camp so he took a cast-iron frying pan and smacked it square on the head! (true story)...

2. We had a cook in the firecamp who took a broom after a bear a couple of times. Damn cook just a bout pissed his pants when the bear turned on hime and gave a couple of good snarls! Never seen a man go that white that fast....ROTFL...oh my stomach.....that was soooo funny...that guy didn't want to shoot the bear before but he sure became a believer in large caliber guns after that. I believe he uses a 4470?? Apparently it is similar to an elephant gun. A little too big for my taste but hey, everyone is entitled to their own choices.

EXCUSE ME for mentioning the THOUGHT of bringing my 9mm. I know it won't drop a bear like the larger caliber guns but its the ONLY gun I own. I'd like to purchase something larger in the future but I've been spending all my cash on my K5 lately. I was just joking and I never brought it. No need to get your panties in a wad!
