For my new aircleaner:

No, really. I'm thinking maybe a big honkin' fender washer and a piece of like 1/4" solid rod bent in a V across the top?

The housing is the tall factory one, with a second snorkel welded on. I'll be doing the cold-air intake thing shortly, once I work out a few other bugs with the new motor. I gotta do a real post for it, but in short, 4x4HIGH on here built this thing for me, did the machine work and set it up and handheld me through my inability to assemble and engine :deal: ... 420hp, >560ft-lbs, screaming bloody orange monster of a big block :D ... so I figger that it should have a big obnoxious filter to match :haha:

I see your blazer was originally mustard yellow also.

This is the sixpack, actually, and the interior is still mustard yellow. :|

Oh yeah, and how come I can't find pretty "468" air cleaner decals? :haha:

You know that there is a member on here that makes stickers. :wink1:

Holy crap, $16 a piece for numbers to go on the grille? (They're ~1.4" high!) I was thinking more like 4-5" high on the air cleaner.
Nice lookin' though, and Scott would be proud I was pimpin' his motor :haha:

I'd be more proud if the pretty engine color didn't clash with the piss mustard yellow firewall. :haha:

Scott that truck is a fashion faux pas of the highest order, I know. I s'pose in the time I had the motor out I could painted the firewall... but I didn't, and I'm not pullin' that thing out now :)

Balzer, that truck is *already* a fashion faux pas of the highest order :haha:

(And considering my other truck is Smurf camo, I *know* fashion faux pas!)

Still not as ugly as my 6 pack... :D Although my red firewall beats your mustard firewall hands down. ;)

Uh........burnout pics please. Or video.

:deal:

Im guessin thats not gonna meet CA emissions...

No matter -- it's exempt ;)

And it might ... well, save for the headers, which don't have an EO, that I recall, nor is the heatpipe hooked up, but the rest is all there and hooked up :D

Greg, getting a sixpack dually to do burnouts is no mean feat... or maybe it requires mean feet. I'm just nervous about revving the thing and then popping it into drive from neutral -- I don't want to blow the tranny up, ya know?

:P When I bought it, it was Aaron's Amazing Technicolour Pickemup:

Note the pimpin' rims :haha:

In retrospect, it's amazing that I had enough vision to see the inner beast in that thing, still waiting to come out...
