I think the garage is great the way it is. It's my first stop with the search feature when I have a question, and it's usually answered right here.

Heck, you guys answer every question I can post within a few hours.

I'm another one with an almost cherry '74. It will likely never see dirt, but the knowledge here keeps it running smooth!

I have another opinion...

How about dividing the garage are in two sections, the radical off road guys (guys with hard core rides) and the week end riders (stock and a bit more)..

What do you think.. this way you and i could determine what kind of response to give out..

Noobs = "The Garage" Forum

Hardcore = "Center of Gravity" Forum....or almost any other year/model specific forum.


Your ideas aren't new....take some more time to look at what's already here. As a group we've fought to keep the site friendly for the new guys while still having areas where the more advanced topics can be discussed without excessive chatter and post-padding.

Every once in a while a new guy shows up at CK5 with a bunch of ideas about how to "improve" the site... usually, his suggestions are to add more redundant forums to the already massive list we have here.

ive always liked the garage forum the way it is.being a noob is just a right of passage.it doesnt take long reading and posting to figure out most things on these trucks.so i vote no also.

I am a noob here been on pirate for along time and I think pirate sucks. I asked about the operation of a q-jet here and at pirate at the same time and got no response from there still meanwhile I have been corresponding with a couple guys over here and just about have my problem figured out. Thank You to CK5 very helpful the way it is.
