Buddy of mine spotted this in Eastern Washington and stopped to grab some pics...

The guy builds the cabs for 15k... He uses two truck cabs and a burb...

Sounds like a lot of money and butchering three rigs, but it's damn sexy...

I was following that thread on 67-72chevytrucks for a while. The guy does amazing work! From the sound of it, he's gearing towards building crew cabs-to-order for folks.

Definitely wouldn't want to rub one of these against trees and rocks!

that's a nice looking rig!

that makes my sticker peck out. I would rather have that with a 5.9 cummins than a new truck.

Sweet. I've seen that truck posted before, or one similar. Lots of work but sure is awesome. 15 Gs ain't bad for that big bastard.

I was reading it as 15g's just for the cab :dunno:

One of those with my 12 valve and 4500 would be :pimp:, heck I would probably get rid of the 11 :D And just DD that :waytogo:

I was thinking 15 for the whole thing done and ready to roll. If not its not as good a deal. But still some great work there.

At our local county fair/truck pulls there is some fair bigwigs that have a 6 door shortbed version of that. Talked to him about it and it was the same basic design with 2 extra doors. Very nicely done, it is a 4wd 1ton with a 5 speed and a injected 454. But its newer, like an 82 or so.

Hopefully I don't get my wrist slapped for linking to another forum....

This page shows the custom B pillar, feel free to snoop around- I've been a member there since 2006 (I also have a 68 2WD SWB that's in a million pieces) and there is an astounding amount of knowledge on that site.

Awesome, thanks...

That guy has crazy fab skills... The more I see this truck, the more I want to build one... I'd love to be able to drop the coin for it, but I think I would like to try my hand at building one...
