Why would you need a 4x8 table.
Well I absolutely have not priced them so if they are that close I agree with your logic. Also I can only assume getting full sheets in there would cut down on production time.

We have two tables, a 5x10 and a smaller one. Wish I had a third and probably will add another 5x10 before too long.
It's the same as any other tool. The bigger the better.
Anybody serious about fab should be on nothing less than a 4x8 and to tell ya the truth, that's far to small.

If you read up on burntables the user reviews aren't that great. Have you checked out plasmaspider. Com?
Also the hypertherms seem to be the best for cutting and customer support. A guy by the name of Jim colt seems to be on every cutting forum and can answer anything about hypertherms and using on different tables.
theres one cost you haven't included here.... Once you get a table that will handle 4x8 or 5x10 you have to think of what your going to use to get 1/4" and 3/8" sheets up onto it. your not going to want to manhandle them much
