Wouldn't have it sitting around and needing to be rid of it would you?

sorry man my dad gave it to his co worker for his burb. I wanted to make some rails for it and paint and all sorts of stuff. But that thing was a huge tree catcher. It was solid it must of weighed 100lbs or more.

Had the '90 for almost a year but haven't done much with it. A previous owner or two back did a lot of work to it mechanically so it's pretty sound - New engine, rebuilt tranny, front end, etc. I've got a big block, 203, 205, low gear set for the TH400 and a FF14 bolt sitting in the garage waiting to be cleaned up/rebuilt and installed.

The 2001 is a great tow rig and just an all-around awsome truck.

Is your 2001 the 6.0 or the 8.1?

What a little brother.....? Those are my dream trucks

The 8.1L - After driving the 5.3 and 6.0 I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Why not? Already got one so what's one more.

you should start your own thread too :wink1: since the rest of us burbarians have or own build thread :D :haha:

Four mos. later, anything new?

Fried the Torque Converter on the last Trail Run. Jeg's put me on back order.
Since April; de-fang, couple more dents, regeared to 3.90s, froze and broke my air mattress filling it with CO2, steering is a little off-center again, Dyna-Beads to balance the tires, yada yada.:D

Especially a C to K conversion. Is that a 10 or a 20 chassis?
Very few people tackle that mod.:D

yeah if you follow my other thread you will notice, that I am doing multiple "unpopular" conversions......

Here's my new ride -

88 Sub V10, 6" BDS suspension, 35" BFG ATs, 56k original miles, 4.56s installed this week and a few more goodies. I have only had it for about 3 weeks now.
