I wasent thinking with my dipstick

if i had been i would have remembered where i put it.

For the life of me i can find it, so i need a dipstick for the 86 k5. the motor is out of a 70's truck and is on the driver side of the motor.

the 86 motor was a pass side dip stick. I took the dipstick from the 86 for the time being but it reads totally different than the old stick

where do i get a new one that will read proper?

i always try and have a few i just get from Junk yard, but the GM ones are way better than the chrome cheapys you find at most parts stores

is the only difference in length different from pass to driver or over the years where there different length tubes
