One quick follow up.

A big problem is that we tend to go where we look. Ever hit a pot hole that you were staring at but didn't want to hit?

Most people get distracted in a skid. They are looking at where the truck is sliding(the ditch, the big tree). They subconsciencly steer that direction. Look where you WANT to go, NOT where you are going.

pretty dang good explanation about steering where you want to, instead of just into the skid. thankfully, in san marcos, he shouldn't have to worry much about cliffs, but the same holds true when sliding towards a concrete barrier or something, which we do have plenty of, in texas.

on the way home from work, i plan to use all 100 of my points to do some sweet donuts on the highway. well, maybe i should wait until the other several thousand people are out of the way .
