Ideal suspension setup...

yeah, go with option #1. Lower lift springs always flex better. As far as trimming and your bling paint job goes, IMO if you're that worried about it, have a professional body guy trim the fenders for you. He can add a factory-style lip and everything. Of course, unless you have a friend that does bodywork, it will cost you... but if you wanna keep the bling that is an option to do so that allows a much cheaper / more trailready suspension setup and better offroad performance all at the same time.

In the words of the immortal Jim Allen, author of the 4-Wheeler Bible:

"There are only two things you need in a four-wheel drive: traction and clearance. Make improvements in those two areas and you're set." -Jim Allen

I'd say that adding 35's to a stock height Blazer has you covered in the "traction" area....but I think you'll still find yourself lacking in the "clearance" area....specifically breakover angle as well as approach and departure angles.

Some amount of clearance underneath needs to be created, or you'll be constantly high-centered, and plowing the rocks instead of getting your tires ON TOP of them.

I have mine torqued to the spec of 40-45lb and they won't take grease.

Mine are practically finger loose and haven't taken a drop of grease since day one.

Greasable crap was the most worthless thing I ever wasted my money on for this truck...oh well, live and learn.

Thanks to everyone for their input

Here is what I decided to do based on what I've read here, and how I applied it to what I want to do.

For the rear:
4" ORD Flip + 2" EZ Rides

For the front:
4" EZ Ride + 1" Zero-rate & move axle forward 1"

I will keep the body lift - for now. Since I will have to remove those bumpers to remove the body lift, I will hold off on it, and see how I like that setup. If I like how it rides, and like how it performs, I'll keep it and trim as neccessary. If it's still don't like it with the body lift, I'll reduce it or remove it all together and trim up some more. Either way, I will remove the bumpers in place of more approach/departure angle friendly ones in the future.
