Idle Mixture Adjustment ASAP

Which way do you need to turn the idle mixture screws to lean a carb out? I think it is inward correct.

I need to lean out the idle mixture on my 2bbl (holley knockoff I think) carb on my Jeep. It is a '73 with 304 V8. I adjust both idle screw in to lean the carb out some correct? Thanks

Yeah Harley, IN to reduce fuel (Lean)

only affects idle though
as soon as the throttle plates open a fraction it no longer feeds from the transfer slots
