I've got a buddy with little 03 B4000 Mazda pickup. He's about to put a 4" lift on it and he has heard that he needs a longer front driveshaft. Now I've never done and IFS lift... but I can't imagine why he'd need a longer shaft. Its got the torsion bar set up.. but don't think that'd even make a difference over coil springs... My understanding is that the front diff shouldn't move, unless maybe it drops down with everything else to help out the halfshaft angle?? Someone clear this up for me:confused:

im not sure about mazdas, but with chevys, like s10s and fullsizes, if you lift it more than 2 inches, they give you a drop bracket to drop down the front diff equal to the amount of lift to make the cv joints happy

B4000= Ranger, the diff will get moved down, and the driveshaft will probably need to be longer, also, the exhaust might need to be rerouted around the front driveshaft.
