Ignition problem

Well once again with this truck another problem and this time it is ignition related. Last night drivin the truck home it just died, I had fuel but no spark. Pushed it home with my 1 ton sierra and let it sit over nite. Went to parts store picked up ignition module changed changed ign module along with cap and rotor. Truck started but backfired thru carb so I shut it off and double checked all plug wires, sure enough 5 and 7 were mixed up. Put wires in there correct places and go back in truck and try to start it but just cranks. Pulled #1 boot off put on old spark plug checked, no spark. Well at this time I came close to pourin gas in the truck and endin my problems with it. Anyways now I am thinkin pick-up coil just not sure if it could be anything else before I pull dizzy out. Thanks for all your help agian
