With my blazer it isn't so bad but the pickup trucks get me everytime.
Mine is GONE!!
I guess someone needed my hitch and ball more than me--some crackhead must have stolen it!!
Oh well,I hardly tow anything anyway--but if I see it on another truck,I'm taking it back!..
( I hope it breaks in two on whoever stole it--baisterds~!)

Amen, the one on my K5 and the one on my Tahoe have both bitten me a couple of times, sucks, especially when it's in the grocery store parking lot and you cuss a blue streak and make all the soccer moms blush.
that sucks , mine has been in for about 13 years. a friend said i should take it out so it doesn't get stolen. i told him IF he can get it out i'll give it to him and buy him a new one.

Mine WAS rusted in tight!
What really sucked is the fact I spent an hour getting it out of the receiver so a friend could borrow it--took torches,big hammers and lots of cussing,finally I just chained it too a big oak tree and drove way quickly a few times,and it finally came out!--it was a few weeks later he asked to borrow it again,I said sure--but when I went to get it,it was gone- -I shoulda welded the damm thing in there,and just let him borrow the truck!.. This one had the provision for anti-sway bars too hook to it(looked like 2 little trailer balls on it!)..
But I dont tow very often,and the 74 K20 is going to the crusher,my 82 Diesel has no receiver,just a bent up step and tow bumper,so I couldnt use it on that anyway--and they cost 25 bucks,not the end of the world I guess--just pisses me off some theif stole it..
