Hey,

Not sure who is still around, but Id love to hear from/connect with any of the old gang as well as meet some new folks. I had a 1973 on tons (see avatar) but sold it to get a 4runner that I linked and beat, but sold and got a '74 K5, but wasn't feeling it so got an FJ80 that I have taken all over the place (Rubicon, JV, Dusy, Tillamook, Moab, etc...) but wanted something else so got a 1970 FJ40, which is mostly made of rust and years away from being ready....

Then, out of the blue, a buddy of mine hits me up and has a smog exempt truck with a rebuild 350 (and I just so happen to have a 6.0L in the garage:) for dirt cheap AND to add to it another buddy of mine has a 1986 K30 C&C that I can get for dirt cheap. Can you say 1 ton Blazer Part 3?

Hopefully the picture shows?

Pic don't work. But cool to hear from one of the OG guys.

Good to see you back with a K5.

:haha:Welcome back Noah, I'm surprised you didnt text me yet to tell me you bought this! I want your 6.0 for my Blazer and I'll give you my 350.

Ha. I'll make you a deal, you come over and help me swap the axles and hydroboost in so I can sell Dan's truck and I will help you find a 5.3/6.0 and install it.

The donor...love the D60, front shims not so much...I've got a lot of the parts I need, but still deciding between 4l80e, 4l60e or just good old fashioned sm465

I don’t see the second ‘correction’ shim on the passenger side but it might just be hard to see. Just in case here’s a link to the correct product to shim the D60 and not stress the studs next to the pumpkin.
