I'm lazy who has the best crossover steering

Too lazy to give us more information as well I guess. 10 bolt, dana 44, dana 60??

I like my ORD. DIY4X just started making some. Don't know anybody who has one off top of my head, but his stuff is always high quality also. It also depends on lift, crossmember, etc as to whether you want the straight drag link or the offset (like ORD's)

I've got ORD stuff on my K5. Arm and drag link, no high steer. I don't have a lot of street miles on it, but from what I have driven...it's nice. Way better than the stock push/pull. The guy included it when I bought my D60, which I paid $700 for....never really looked at the price of the parts new.

Man you guys must be nicer than me these days... I wouldn't have helped him after posts like this...:doah:

Like says, who has the best crossover/high steer set up. And price/ value does matter.

I guess this is more of what I wanted. Price doesn't matter. Value does. I see the Ord is almost twice what others are selling for. So are they that much better? Idk? that's
more opinion. But opinion it what I was wondering.

Doesn't matter I didn't ask for arms. I was talking about the crossover drag link and a high steer which also does not matter which axle.
I didn't realize this was pirate.

How are they supposed to know that? All you said was...

who has the best crossover/high steer set up

That doesn't tell us much of anything.

I'm running ORD drag link. I see your a coloradan. I used BONZ arms and tie rod locally from him here in the springs.

I like crossover steering. I have the kit with no springs, some bars, and rod ends. Just too lazy to remember what brands

PS> I echo Avery's thoughts

you got a deal.

Me?

I know I did. When I bought my 44's from him he asked if I needed a 60. Told him I did. Said he had one from the buggy he was parting. It's a Dodge axle, but it's one of the good ones (non neck down shafts, no CAD). He included the 2wd steering box (already drilled/tapped for hydro), cross over parts, extra set of hubs and some drive flanges. When he said he only wanted $700, I couldn't give him my money fast enough.

Facebook might be a better place for questions of this caliber.

I would definitely include arms in this search as all arms are not equal. Different companies place the holes in different positions which can effect the length of the drag link.

I have an NWF crossover kit but recently changed from a single right side arm to a pair of arms from a different manufacturer in order to convert to hi steer. After buying & selling arms I found the hole placement was different making my drag link too short. I found a longer DRE to make everything work but it was a PITA.

As far as 'tried and true', I have to go with ORD. But that's just based on years of reading opinions. I personally have only owned 1, an ORD. I'm confused as to why steering arms don't matter to you. I see that as an integral part of the 'system'. There's plenty of threads here and elsewhere of potluck setups that have poor geometry or the drag link and tie rod hit each other, etc. Personally, I'd rather have a setup that was designed together. And besides steering arms and pitman arms, we're basically just talking about tubing.

EDIT: ^^^ Nvrenuf beat me to it.

As far as the 'atmosphere' in this thread, I've been neutral so far, but you gotta share some of the blame here. The brotherhood tends to come down hard on the pirate-like posts b/c...well...we don't want to be pirate. Not too late to right the ship.

Clean truck. I like it.
