Hi all,

Santa just informed me that I might be getting my dream truck for Christmas since I've been a "good girl" all year ;-) If that's the case, then on Christmas Eve there will be a '74 Blazer in my driveway! YAY!

A cowoker directed me to this site so I thought I'd start meeting people in the Blazer world.

HI!

~Denise

Oh no, don't say that. As it is I drive an '04 F150 and am addicted to F150online so now I'm gonna have two sites that I can't stop reading all day long :eek1:

I cannot wait to get this truck. It's going to need a lot of work but I'm ready. I haven't had a project truck for years! My brother has a '73 Jimmy so it will be awesome working together on our trucks and wheelin the he!! out of them.

No offense taken......F*rds are very good for hauling classic Chevy parts around!!! '74 is a cool year....full convertible wheelin' can not be beat.

(then again, I'm biased)

hahahaha Well I happen to love my Ford :p: but it's not a "project" truck like this Blazer will be. Too danged expensive to modify newer vehicles.

Cool stuff, hope it all works out. :woot:

Just...once you get addicted...you may find you doing this to your truck... :hack: :k5:

Welcome! I am sure you will enjoy it here and will find lots of helpful information!!!!

Thanks all for the warm welcome! I hope the fact that I drive a Ford as a daily driver doesn't steer you away from offering advice :wink1:

Ugh, don't remind me. Mine started off as a clean truck that would have made a nice DD :doah:

BTW, Racerchick, my tow rig is a '04 PSD and I haven't been run outta here yet. ;)

Welcome, lot's of good info to be obtained here. You best bet, is to read for a while about what evryone else is doing, while keeping an idea of what you plan to use/do with your K5. Keeping that in the back of your mind, while seeing whats being done by others, will help prevent you from buying stuff.. only to change your mind. All too often, people go and buy some lift springs right away.. only to find that they are stiff, and not the best application for what they will be doing. By spending a little time seeing what others are doing before you start buying parts.. you might just save yourself some headaches, and money. :thumb:

"Hubby"....damn.... ( :haha: )

Welcome to the site. However, you have said 'F*rd' in every post I've seen so far....stop that. :wink1:

Don't forget to aquire a sawzall and a welder also, welcome to the best chevy truck/blazer hangout on the web. Got ??? ask away! :D
