I think I want to build a buggy. I need something that fits in my garage. I threw around the idea of lowering my rig, major cutting and just using the front half of my frame, firewall and door pillars to have a street legal buggy but I think I want to go full tube chasis. My brother is killing me, I went to his house and he has someones buggy in the shop and it just seems like it would be the best way to go. Those of you that have a buggy that isnt streetable whats your opinion? Are you happy or would you rather have something you can run on the street from point to point.

If I go through with this it will be after Dusey in August and I will replace my 60 with a 44 when I sell it. I never did get my doubler in so my 383 and doubler are still sitting on the floor in the garage. I basically have all the mechanicals just need to fab and pereferials. I hooked up with a guy here in town that has a fab shop doing farm equipment and has a CNC plasma, my bender, welder and bros brain to back me up so I have support on things I need. Just need an opinon if I am being stupid thinking about it or makes good sense.

I trailer to the trail head but there are trails like Dusey or Swamp I would have to go in and out of instead of making the loop due to having to drive on Forest roads. That just kind of doubles the wheeling fun unless the guys I am with dont want to go back through the trail.
