A few years ago someone I knew repainted a truck with IH red paint from the farm store. It looked amazingly good and he had hardly any cost compared to automotive paint. He said the secret was to thin with automotive enamel reducer. I'm not proposing using it on the exterior body panels like he did, but I did wonder about it for bumpers, or my inner fenders, things that get kind of beat up. Anyone tried enamel reducer in tractor paint?
