In search of another K30 truck....

....for a buddy of mine. He is selling his 83 K10 and wants to get a cheaper K30 truck to drive around as a 'parts chaser.'
Anybody have anything from '81 to '87 in single wheel regular cab? It does not need to be running and doesnt matter what engine or tranny its got. Just as long as its a decent K30.
Any of you guys who bought some recently for cheap want to sell them for a profit? He already asked me about the one I got from Shawn and I was like, "nope, its going to be built and to be a play truck!"

He is talking to my brother-in-law to see if he wants it.
Its a black/red short bed, 4" lift, 33" BFG's, built 350, TH350, NP205, D44 and 12B. The whole drivetrain was swapped in. It originally had the 305, 700R4, 208, 10B's front and rear. He is trying to sell it for around $6000.00. Its a very good and clean truck.
He wants something cheaper like a K30 (not built, nor lifted, etc.) to use for a parts chaser and work truck. Guess I finally convinced him to get the BEST!!!

Just got back from a fishing trip near Kamaloops, BC. Two K30's for sale in local paper, one 81 SRW, $2300 & other 86 DRW, $5400 Canadian dollars. Both 4 speeds, 350's. Wished I could tell you more. Fish biting too well or I would have looked at them.

87 K5, D60 & 14FF, 5 sp & NP208 & 383 stroker. Build it Bulletproof and take it fishing!

I called on an 87 K30 today in Nauvoo IL. I've got the number at work. If you want to call me tomorrow between 930 and 6 central, the number is 573-393-1066. Otherwise I'll try to remember to bring it home tomorrow night. The guy is asking $4000 obo. Its a 454 also.
