What’s everyone running for a in- tank fuel pump for a TBI set up? Switching dads Suburban over to TBI so need to get a pump that runs 12-15 psi. Thanks

A stock Tbi pump is just fine. If you start up the ep241 and 381 route, it says it’s at pressure but they seem to run different, I guess due to the strength of the pump?

Delco or walbro are good brands

Fyi, I’m using an AC Delco replacement and had trouble with it not working intermittently. The problem was loose terminals in a jumper pigtail included with the pump, once I fixed that it’s worked great.

Well that was surpposed to take you to the brand as well. It was a Delphi

I have had good luck with the Delphi. Seems like the AC Delco has had some availability issues when I have needed one the last few years. AC Delco is usually my first choice with Delphi 2nd. No issues with the Delphi ones I have.

I had Bosch pumps in the crew cab saddle tanks, but I don't find them available anywhere now.

Not sure what brand to trust, going to buy two so we can carry an extra

,??? Carry an extra ?

Electric Fuel Pumps are a hassle to drop the tank on......

Maybe I've been lucky, but never touched an in tank pump. Definitely, not something to do on the side of the road.

Yep, just cut the floor. Not worth messing with the tank

I can think of numerous times one of those access holes have come in very handy.

When your a few hours into a trail you try to go prepared.
I cut an access hole in the floor of the Suburban already.
