In tank fuel pump for TBI

Owning all Asphalt Queens, Triple AAA is never far away....

Still like the idea of getting a larger section of a truck floor, to fabricate a removable cover.

Maybe my luck will run out and I will have to have it replaced

I welded a lip to the inside with 1/4-20 nuts to the back. 4 bolts and it’s out or in

At some point I'm going to add a removable cover and I want to do it like this - smoooooth. I like the RV covers and such but I want something more flush.

My access hole in the Blazer already paid off. I developed a small leak last week. Just a loose fitting on the return line. Would have been a real pain having to drop the tank just for that. I know it was tight when I changed the pump but somehow it ended up loose 100 miles later.

I just had to tighten up all of the clamps on my return lines too.

I wish I could do that in my pick up, but the fuel tank location for the fuel pump and sending unit is located right between the bed and the cab in a pick up. I run the AC Delco EP241 (Delphi PN# FE0114) pumps in my TBI square body because I have a modified TBI with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator set at 12-PSI. The EP241 pump max pressure is 60-PSI. The stock EP381 pump cannot maintain a constant pressure of its max rating of 12-PSI.
