In the beginning....pic whoring

I was digging through some old cds and ran across some early pics of my virgin K5. So here is a time line in pictures from where I started to where it is today. Yes I'm a pic whore.
Here it is the night after my first stuck. Was side ways in a ditch up to the mud line. Notice the nice fender rot around the wheel wells.

4 days later......New 6" lift and 3/4 ton axles

This is the diesel donor tub sitting on stands.

Prepping for tub removal. My friend and I snatched it off with the tractor and boom.

Next evening wired and ready for the front clip. We just rolled the chassis under the other body and bolted it up. 2" body also installed

Testing with first bumper design. Also no longer can see through the floor board.

looks good. the last pics how much lift is on it. and what are current specs?? also what rims were the military tires on i have some and i have no idea what they are. good job though hope mine looks the same :saweet:

Thanks man. Its got 6" springs, 2" body and zerorate. TBI350/TH350/NP205 5.13s and 42s, back is welded rear and LS front. Those where a factory chevy rims. 8.25 x 16.5. The military tires are 36 12.50 16.5 but they only stood around 34".
