Yup, They do come in handy!!! Especially when frying something on the stove.
Oh yeah ... cooking gears, annoying cats, it goes on and on...

love those things. They are useful, and mostly just fun, haha.
we had a bad skip in a toyota v6. found dead cyl with it. and found bad plug on injector wire in under 2 min. cold exaust port found it.
found a bad half a carb that needed a reman as 1 side of exaust was cold on outer ports and other was cold on inner ports. split port intake works this way. so carb was bad. and man thay do work great. i even use it to check tstats for open and close temps or for pluged heater cores.

Can I use it too tell which chick at the bar is the "hottest??"....
