ok well i put my new hubs on and new wheel bearings in it but the inner wheel bearing wont fit on the spindle. its the same as the one i took off ( same numbers stamped in it) how do i get it on

Did you by chance change spindles? There are two different spindles (uses different inner bearings). Measure the diameter of the spindle where the inner bearing would ride and make sure it matches the bearings you have. IIRC the smaller one is like 1.76" ID and the large one is 2" ID.

i did break out the mic to check the size and the new bearing inside diameter is 1.996 and the spindle is 1.999 where the bearing rides but they still dont fit. i know there it is suppose to fit on alittle snug but i dont think it is a press fit situation lol

Well, there's your problem, there's no way you'll get a bearing with 1.996" ID to fit onto a spindle that is 1.999". Go measure your old bearing to see what they are, wouldn't be the first time there was a bad run of parts from a manufacturer.

ok i hope thats what it is but it will be this weekend until i can get to the truck due to school and stuff. i must have terrible luck for two inner bearings not to fit and it be a manufacture thing hahah

I'd bet money I could get that on there :D

Spindle in the freezer. Benzo on the bearing. Drop right on.

But no your correct it shouldnt be that way. Take some emery cloth to the ID of the bearing.

Did you get a chance to measure the old bearing? Were you test fitting the new bearing by itself or trying to install while in the hub?

i didnt measure the old bearing but i did try to test fit the bearing then i installed it in the hub and tryied to put it on and no dice

nope but i figured witht the wieght of the hub and rotor maybe it would slide on easier or maybe i hade it all cattywompas and it would go on with the hub but it didnt
