Input Needed! Air bag body mount idea

Well, big rigs have air ride cabs, but they basically pivot in the front and have bags only under the back. That prevents too much sway or shifting of the cab but doesn't allow for a lift system that you're looking for.
If you go with an air lift system for the suspension, I would think you should only lift the shackle end, then you don't have so many issues with trying to keep it all from getting sloppy. The shackle lift setup would only need good stability side-to-side so the axle doesn't shift on you. Kelderman has a setup to mount the shackle on an air carriage for HD pickups. I think it was meant to add comfort and load capacity, but I thought it was a terrible way to add capacity when you're still carrying all the weight on the springs. It's actually a good system of letting you vary height a few inches.
