Just installed a Tach in my 89 GMC Jimmy with 5.7L TBI , Np205 and 700R4 . Running 265/75/16's .
What should I set the Sunpro Tach II mini red line arm at ?

Stock TBI should be self limiting above 4700 rpm or so anyways...set it where it amuses you. :D

Not enough fuel, cam or head flow to get much higher than that under load.

Right Rene' they literally run out of breath about 4500 or so, in stock configuration.

Smash the peddle down and see where it stops. :haha:

then when it blows back it off 100rpm from there and call it good. :haha:

but yes 4500 rpm or so is realy max for stock tbi setup. you will know when you max out as it will fall on its face. note that point and set it a few 100 rpm before it.

I keep hearing this, but I have yet to hit a limiter on my TBI 350. I have had it up to around 6k according to my tach. :dunno::whistle:
